Valentine Day menu was absolutely fantastic! Every dish from the course was very well balanced, tasted great and looked stunning! Glad to find this gem in our city. Definitely will come back
10/10. I went for the 2026 5 course valentines menu and my expectations were absolutely exceeded. Each course was not only visually stunning, but the taste was Michelin star quality! Huge acknowledgments to the chefs involved, the menu was creative and impeccably executed. I left no crumbs on any plate. Our server, Mayas, was so attentive, knowledgable and kind. The place was clean, lovely music playing and we were greeted by a very welcoming host. Best restaurant experience I’ve had. Thank you for having us and I will be back without a doubt.
Consistently great food and service! Every time we have gone here for dinner (I think this was our fourth time), the food has been prepared beautifully, the flavours paired nicely, the service polite and attentive, and the portions and prices impressive. I can honestly say that some of my favorite dishes I have ever had in Winnipeg have been at The Blue Marble. The atmosphere is very nice and calm, and I enjoyed the choice of music playing over the speaker while we dined, so that's a bonus. I will be thinking of that dessert for a long time: Banana bread french toast with apple cinnamon ice cream...mmmm! We will definitely be back.
Today was my first opportunity in the last 30 days to have something deep-fried. I opted for the fish and chips. When they arrived at the table, I have to admit the food was hot. You did have to be careful not to burn yourself. I like it when my food arrives and you have to wait for it to cool down to eat it. The french fries were delicious and I found the fish to be delicious as well. I’m not sure if it was me or if it was the way it was supposed to be there was a bit of a layer between the batter and the fish that seemed to be just a little bit undercooked. I would order it again just to be certain. There was two pieces of fish. I couldn’t eat both of them and I couldn’t eat all of the french fries. My work partner had the beef spring rolls and he said they were delicious. The waiter was very attentive.
Was hungry at the airport of Winnipeg so we went to Blue Marble restaurant which is a 5 minute walk distance. Ordered their fried calamari with 2 drinks. The fried calamari portion was small and the salad was okay. The vinaigrette was not that tasty was a bit too sour for me. Service-wise it was perfect. Great atmosphere. There were no crowd.
