They have big serving. I love ube flavor, and the Ube pancake is so delicious, not too sweet, but very aromatic. The scoop of ice cream and young coconut on the top compliment the taste of the Ube pancake.. For the dished, I love the fried milk fish (bangus) it is so good, very crispy.
Busy lively morning service breakfast make sure you try their appetizer sampler it's great. The bangus is also good but Tapa, Tocino and longganisa lacks flavor and hard. Waited for my bill for a VERY long time despite standing having our winter coats on already since its taking so long went to cashier tatay there shook his head and got it for us =)
This was the first time I've been to Grassmere & it won't be my last! Best Tapsilog I've ever had! Friendly service & nice clean atmosphere. Looking forward to the next time. Highly recommend!! 5 stars +!
Excellent prompt service. Several staff members supporting each other, checking in on us and bringing everything we need including refills without having to ask. Many options on menu and reasonably priced. Food came out very quickly. Presentation was beautiful and food was hot, flavourful and good portions. Will definitely be back!! Only downside is closing at 3pm and wish they had more options for coffee (espresso, iced coffee etc)
I’ve dined at this restaurant a few times and enjoyed it each time. I remember being impressed with the portions before but at my most recent visit, I thought that the pinoy platter portion was smaller. It’s a little pricier compared to other Filipino restaurants (used to be able to justify it with big portions). Food is good so it will still be in our breakfast restaurant rotation.
