Dawning Restaurant has become my go-to weekend breakfast spot, and for good reason. Their over-easy eggs are cooked perfectly every single time—soft, runny yolks just the way I like them. The fried potatoes are absolutely to die for, crispy on the outside with a delicious hint of garlic and onion. And let’s talk about the pancake: so fluffy and light, it practically melts in your mouth. The portions are generous, the food is always hot and fresh, and it’s surprisingly affordable for the quality you get. Simple, satisfying, and consistently delicious—exactly what a weekend breakfast should be. Highly recommend this cozy little gem!
Nice little restaurant. We went there for brunch and were seated right away. The service was a little slow, but it was busy, so you can't really complain about that. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed their meal. The price was reasonable and we'll define be visiting again.
05/16/2024. The Dawning is a great family restaurant. My better 1/2 and my stopped in for breakfast at about 8:15 am. They have an excellent breakfast special that includes coffee. The was quick and friendly. The breakfast was served hot and the coffee was refilled on a regular basis. The cost is exceptional at $35 including a 15% tip!
I came here with my girlfriend, ordered grilled cheese with bacon! Loaded with bacon! The soup on the side was made from scratch! And was a great price. Feels very clean and fast and Service! Will come back again
This restaurant is a straight up gem! The owners are so friendly and genuine. Restaurant has the “classic” diner feel (somewhat outdated but I feel it gives a nostalgic feel) Food is all home-made and with fresh ingredients. I haven’t tried their dinner menu yet but the breakfast and lunch options are so tasty. I had never heard of “cream of carrot” soup, but had tried it and it’s amazing. Will 100% return here again.
