Dawning Restaurant has become my go-to weekend breakfast spot, and for good reason. Their over-easy eggs are cooked perfectly every single time—soft, runny yolks just the way I like them. The fried potatoes are absolutely to die for, crispy on the outside with a delicious hint of garlic and onion. And let’s talk about the pancake: so fluffy and light, it practically melts in your mouth. The portions are generous, the food is always hot and fresh, and it’s surprisingly affordable for the quality you get. Simple, satisfying, and consistently delicious—exactly what a weekend breakfast should be. Highly recommend this cozy little gem!

One of THE best hometown breakfast diners I've ever been too. The food was beyond spectacular, I had the pancakes and bacon and my partner had the farmer hash, which was on special! Both meals were amazing. The service was just what we loved! Not invasive but super friendly and accommodating! And the atmosphere was likr an old mom and pop diner which is super welcoming and homey. Overall I loved our experience at Dawning and we'll definitely be coming back!!
05/16/2024. The Dawning is a great family restaurant. My better 1/2 and my stopped in for breakfast at about 8:15 am. They have an excellent breakfast special that includes coffee. The was quick and friendly. The breakfast was served hot and the coffee was refilled on a regular basis. The cost is exceptional at $35 including a 15% tip!
