Food is really good. Very big portions. Certainly value for money. Very good housemade mushroom soup. Gyro was too saucy and thin on the meat. Other dishes were more generous with the meat like the pork tenderloin. Veal Neptune, veal was very nice. I wouldn't recommend the Neptune though. Moussaka is ok. With other wet ingredients like salad, it would've been better to separate the sides. Highlight are the lemon potatoes. If they were also pan roasted, it would've made them perfect. Restaurant slightly noisier on one side with a big party but still very tolerable. Ample seating for various sized groups including outdoor seating on nicer rather days. I'd return.
Our first time dining at Taverna Rodos. My sister in-law suggested lunch on a weekday. The place was busy but it’s large enough that we didn’t have to make a reservation. Bar on one side and restaurant tables on the other. Great food & generous portions. I had the lemon chicken rice soup with lots of pita bread on the side. The others had a Reuben, lasagna & chicken souvlaki…all were delicious. The strawberry smoothie was so yummy! Our server Karen provided excellent service!
This is a great spot. The service is amazing! They are a team. Then the lunch menu is lovely. Huge portions, so big everyone takes home food. We started with the lemon chicken soup and it might be the best in the city, then their Greek player and a gyro platter. All was cooked well. Great flavors and even a nice cup of coffee
An exceptional dining experience! The food was exquisite—beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Service was flawless, attentive without being intrusive. While it's not the cheapest option, the quality and experience make it absolutely worth it.
What a wonderful experience we had at the restaurant today for our anniversary lunch. Vanessa was our server and she was outstanding ! 🤩 we were seated right away and in a lovely corner table. We didn’t wait long for our lemon soup which was amazing! then our entrees arrived and we knew right away we would be taking some home, the portions are very generous. It was a fantastic experience and Vanessa was the best ambassador for the restaurant, just lovely. Can not wait to go back again 😍
